LED walls for weddings: everything Ottawa couples need to know
From ceremony backdrops to the late-night dance floor, here's how an LED wall transforms a wedding — and the planning details that make or break it.

Where an LED wall fits in a wedding
Ceremony backdrop. Instead of a generic arbour, picture a custom monogram, a slow-motion video loop of your engagement shoot, or live drone footage of the venue. We can program the wall to transition through cues as the ceremony progresses.
Cocktail hour. Looping photo slideshows of the couple's journey, with subtle ambient music videos behind. Guests gather and chat. The wall is the conversation starter.
Reception speeches. IMAG (image magnification) means the best man at the head table appears five feet tall behind him. Every guest sees every expression.
First dance & late-night. The wall becomes a moving art piece. Custom visuals, lyrics for sing-along moments, or just a beautifully colour-graded loop that ties the whole room together.
What to budget
Most couples allocate $3,500–8,500 depending on screen size, packages, and operator coverage. That's an all-in figure: delivery, setup, content playback, on-site operator if you want one, and tear-down.
Working with your planner
If you have a planner, loop us in by the time you've picked your venue. We'll do a site visit together, identify the best wall location, and coordinate with the DJ/band on power and timing.
If you're self-planning, we've got a one-page checklist we can send over — covers content prep, venue logistics, and timeline so nothing slips.
A note on lighting
LED walls and uplighting need to work together, not against each other. We coordinate with your lighting vendor so the wall doesn't blow out the rest of the room's carefully designed look. This is one of the unsung benefits of working with a full-service AV team.
When to book
For peak wedding season (May–September) in Ottawa, 4–8 months out is ideal. For off-peak dates, 6–12 weeks is usually fine. We block one major wedding per Saturday so our A-team is on every event.
